Force Measurement Devices

A force measuring device allows the determination of forces. Many device models are designed either exclusively for compressive forces, tensile forces, both compressive and tensile forces, or torsional forces acting in the axial direction of the force sensor. Regardless of the direction of the force, attention must be paid to the measuring range of each force measuring device. A force measuring device that is subjected to forces higher than specified, forces of a different nature, or forces acting in an unintended direction may be damaged or destroyed.

DT-DFG X Serie (intern)

  • Internal force sensor
  • Ranges: 5, 10, 20, 200, 500, 1000 N
  • Adapter set
  • Adjustable measurement rate: 1 … 7200 Hz
  • Accuracy: ± 0.05 % F.S.
  • LC Display
  • USB-C Connetion
  • PC Software
  • 32 GB storage for 30 Mio. Measuring values
The force measuring device has a built-in load cell. It can be used for both tensile and compressive force measurements. With a measurement rate of up to 7,200 Hz, the device can perform force measurements that occur in an impulse-like manner.
Using the M6 screw connections on the back, the force measuring device can be mounted, for example, on a force test stand to carry out reproducible measurements. With the adapters included in the delivery, measurements can be performed for a wide variety of applications.

DT-DFG X Serie (S Form)

  • External force sensor
  • Ranges: 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 kN
  • Adjustable measurement rate: 1 … 7200 Hz
  • Accuracy: ± 0.05 % F.S.
  • LC Display
  • USB-C Connetion
  • PC Software
  • 32 GB storage for 30 Mio. Measuring values

The force measuring device consists of an evaluation unit and an S-shaped load cell. With the threaded connections on the load cell, it can be mounted on various fixtures. Measurements are possible in both tensile and compressive directions.
Before, during, and after a measurement, the force measuring device can be connected to a PC via a USB-C interface. Using the software, the measurement data can be analyzed, processed, and exported. If needed, an ISO calibration certificate can be issued.

DT-DFG X Serie (Compression Sensor)

  • External force sensor
  • Ranges: 0,5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 kN
  • Adjustable measurement rate: 1 … 7200 Hz
  • Accuracy: ± 0.05 % F.S.
  • LC Display
  • USB-C Connetion
  • PC Software
  • 32 GB storage for 30 Mio. Measuring values

The force measuring device consists of a system combining a handheld unit and a force sensor. With this force sensor, force measurements can be performed at particularly small and hard-to-reach measurement points. If needed, the force sensor can be permanently mounted, with appropriate threaded connections located on its underside.
This force measurement system enables various pressure measurements. The storage capacity is designed to record up to 30 million measurement points.

When selecting a device, the speed and duration of the load must also be considered. A force measuring device that is intended to precisely capture and display short-term loads must not only have high measurement accuracy but also a high resolution and a high measurement rate. These models of force measuring devices are usually equipped with interfaces and software for transferring the values to a computer or laptop. Some can also store the values internally and display them as graphics on the screen.
A force measuring device can be equipped with either an internal or external sensor. Devices for general tensile and compressive force measurements are often offered with extensive accessories such as hooks, tips, and pressure plates. Some device models with internal sensors feature threaded holes or other mounting aids, allowing them to be easily fixed to measuring fixtures and test stands. If a force measuring device for external sensors can independently recognize the connected sensor or if the sensor type can be set by the user in the device menu, then the device can be used seamlessly with various external sensors.
A force is usually only visible when it causes a change. So, we do not see the force itself, but rather its effect. However, this effect depends not only on the magnitude and direction of the force but also on the opposing influences acting against it. To objectively determine and compare forces, various methods and devices for force measurement have been developed

Our force measuring devices offer you:

  • Meaningful evaluations
  • Support for national and international standards and regulations
  • Various menu languages
  • Comfortable handling
  • Software support
